In this issue Geoffrey Blainey presents his second Eldershaw Lecture (he presented the first lecture in 1968 and the 50th anniversary lecture in 2018), Raymond Arnold paints a picture of his Tasmanian artistic life, Rosemary Sharples saddles up for the history of cycling in nineteenth century Tasmania, Derek Binns chases royal assassin and Launceston builder John Francis, and Mrs Eliza Agnes Reid remembers her short holiday at the Great Lake in 1887-1888.
