Emeritus Professor Michael Roe is an eminent Tasmanian historian. He has been a member of the Association since 1952 and spent 37 years on the committee, including periods as Chair/President, Vice-Chair/Vice-President and Treasurer, as well as taking the minutes of the monthly general meetings for many years. He has been the Association's Patron since 2016 following his retirement from the committee.
